Description Woolslair Elementary School, Pittsburgh (Bloomfield/Lawrenceville area) designed by Samuel Thornburg McClarren. Completed in 1897, it has Romanesque Revival forms, a picturesque sprung roof, but also has numerous Classical details and an overall symmetry. A pleasing composition.
