| Description |
English: Working on the locks Work in progress at the top of Bingley Five Rise Locks. A pair of lock gates is being replaced. A temporary dam has been constructed by slotting thick wooden planks into the slots in the canal side. These are provided at all narrow points of the canal, such as bridges, for this purpose.
The water has been drained from the top lock and the flow of the canal is diverted into the drainage channels by the pump. |
