| Description |
English: A hypothetical, speculative model of the fully-intercalated Wu "Straight Ladder" DNA structure (Wu R & Wu TT, Bull Math Biol, 58:1171-1185, 1996) consists of two un-twisted, fully-extended Watson-Crick-like duplexes with their base pairs mutually intercalated. This is the first of the two duplexes. The other is in Wikimedia Commons as "Wu 'Straight Ladder' DNA structure, second duplex.jpg", and the combined intercalated structure is "Wu 'Straight Ladder' DNA structure, two duplexes combined".
