The original is in the Public Domain. Translation: anonymous work, probably in the Public Domain. The first German edition of the work was published in 1902 as Käthe, die Karyatide. It remains to be researched if this edition is the same translation. The only translator that is named in several German editions of (other) prose works by Zapolska is Stefania Goldenring (according to the WBIS database: male, 1857–1920) whose work is also in the Public Domain. |
