Nederlands: Zelfportret van Adriaen van der Werff met in zijn handen het geschilderde portret van zijn vrouw Margaretha van Rees (1669-1732) en hun dochtertje Maria (1692-1731). De schilder is ten halven lijve voorgesteld, in de linkerhand een palet en penselen. Om de hals een ketting met een medaillon met de beeltenis van Johan Wilhelm, keurvorst van de Palts.
