Čeština: Pomník vojákům Rudé armády ve Zvoleněvsi, okres Kladno. Objekt se nalézá při silnici pod schodištěm ke kostelu. Nápis v pravé části pomníku.
English: Memorial to Red Army soldiers, who perished during liberation in 1945, in Zvoleněves, Kladno District, Czech Republic. Right part. The memorial is located besides road a few steps below church. There are two inscriptions in Russian (surprisingly containing minor inconsistencies in grammar and spelling) and one inscription in Czech. Five NCOs (left plaque) and five soldiers of rank and file (right plaque) are listed by surname. The middle plaque reads: „Soil from the Sokolovo battlefield was placed on May 8, 1973, for eternal memory of combat friendship of peoples of the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia.“ This act of soil transfer alludes to Czechoslovak soldiers fallen during liberation of Ukraine, thus reflecting symbolical reciprocity of their sacrifice. |
