Okay, I brought this up on the Wikipedia image talk page, but I forgot that it's hosted here. Anyway, the image of the eMule mascot is under copyright and trademark, see http://forum.emule-project.net/lofiversion/index.php/t92722.html . As such, it has to be deleted from Commons and maybe reuploaded to English Wikipedia under fair use for the eMule article. --Geopgeop 14:53, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

As stated on the image description page, the logo is part of the eMule source distributed under GPL. Even if its trademarked (and it would be nice to see real proof for that, not the opinion of an uninformed participant of a forum discussion, who has been corrected several times later in the same discussion), it is still free content (though if that is the case, the appropriate warning template should be placed on the description page). --Tgr 18:54, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
