Images redirected to this file

How is it that different images that don't exist are redirected to this file successfully. I can't duplicate the functionality on my wiki, and the documentation here doesn't have the answer either.--71.194.35.108 08:35, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Neutrality

The current flag is just a greyed version of the German flag; you should swap the colours "#bbb" and "#d4d4d4" in the SVG source file to get something looking like a flag but not like any existing. --Mr. B.B.C. (talk) 14:46, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

{{editprotected}} I agree, that it is not neutral (regardless of which original country it has been grayed, it still implies, that flags have three horizontal stripes, which is obviously not true, and others could easily ask, why not have three vertical stripes, why not have triangle on the left side, etc...). Therefore I would like this one to be replaced by white rectangle with grey question mark, something like File:Dummy flag.svg (that particular one has two issues though - it is transparent and it has frame, but I am sure somebody can create such simple dummy flag). Thank you. Please feel free to spread/notice this request anywhere necessary.
