Furthermore, as it is also especified "iluminante C" and accurate + - 5 units CIELAB[1], so we get the following possibilities, by using above conversion tool, on the basis of legal specification:

What we can see, colors employed on version 27/02/2007 do not match to any documented official source and it is not acceptable to fix them on the basis of a personal perception. Red #db000d corresponds to CIELAB 45/71/56 that excede legal CIELAB 35/70/37 by more than 5 units. Also yellow #fbea0e goes to CIELAB 91/-17/91 compared to legal 85/95 (?)/80. Notice that Web-Safe codes don't change after +- accuracy CIELAB. So I will ammend again version to the brightest version here explained as it can be verified from sources and not from a private POV (even if it was quite reasonable, but not supported by any source)--SanchoPanzaXXI 11:18, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

According to the Real Decreto 441/1981, de 27 de febrero, por el que se especifican técnicamente los colores de la Bandera de España the official colours are:
Red: L 35, C 80, H 35
Yellow: L 80, C 95, H 85
Which converting them to RGB and HTML with this tool http://www.easyrgb.com/calculator.php we have:
Red: RGB(177,7,28), HTML #B1081C
Yellow: RGB(255,186,0), HTML #FFBA00

Those colors are the two ones show at top of the table..therefore, seems to be too dark (saturated) to use for a PC monitor. However, they are the recomemnded for printing.--SanchoPanzaXXI 22:19, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Cutting out the empty elements near the end of the file would reduce file length by about 2k, but wouldn't change the rendering. AnonMoos (talk) 01:18, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
