I reversed this since a reputable Swedish historian has identified this portrait as Frederick Adolph, not Carl. Added reference. EmilEikS (talk) 10:54, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

EmilEikS is making a bit of a mess here by uploading a totally different portrait. Who painted this one? /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 12:35, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kuiper is rude and personally offensive as usual and continues to stalk me. FredrikT claims to have updated the painter now to match this portrait. I do not know who painted it. The previous image was of the wrong person according to the file name. I thought this was a better way to go than to delete, rename, etc. EmilEikS (talk) 12:46, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Uploading a totally different painting is confusing. The current image is a crop of this painting. According to the Nationalmuseum, the painter is unknown. (And the photo is copyrighted according to Swedish law.) /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 13:05, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Something is very strange here. When I look at the file page I still see the excerpt from Roslin's painting with Karl (XIII) in a red coat - that's why I changed the information earlier. HOwever - when i click the "Check usage" button I see a miniature of a completely different painting which really shows Fredrik Adolf??? Could it be the cache of my computer that messes things up for me? Which picture do you others see? /FredrikT (talk) 21:41, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
After reloading the page a couple of times I now finally see the "new" painting of Fredrik Adolf. I apologize for my last editings of the information about the painting, but they were made in good faith - based on what I saw then. /FredrikT (talk) 21:43, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
