Anon comment from file page[edit]

This picture does'nt show reality - the angle between uterus and cervix must be changed during operation. One of three causes to use narcosis during operation. TJ.MD, user of german WP. user:TJ.MD, 19:04, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you are a bit more specific, I'd gladly change the image to address your concerns. How must the angle be changed? I'd say the angle now is roughly 90 degrees. Should it be more acute, or more obtuse? -Andrew c (talk) 20:51, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. My english is not very good. But I'll try: I think, you used a picture from an anatomic picture-book to make the picture. Without operation the angle betwen the Corpus uteri and cervix uteri can be round about 90 degree ( 0_ , "0" is uterus, "-" is cercix). But NOT, if anybody make/do an operation like vakuum-aspiration or abrasio or curettage or something like this: Then the operator/pysichian has to stretch the uterus, by pulling the cervix "downstairs", direction introitus / perineum. ( 0- ) This must be done, otherwise the risk of "perforating" the rear "wall" of the uterus is very high.. I hope, you understand. Greetings, TJ.MD (talk) 18:12, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think I understand. How is the angle in this image, File:Dilation_&_curettage.svg? I can alter this image to be more like that one, if that works. Or if you have comments on how to improve that one, I'd like to hear them as well. -Andrew c (talk) 19:13, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, in this image File:Dilation_&_curettage.svg the angle is ok. Here http://bilder.afterbuy.de/images/20332/S276_02.JPG and there http://www.eisenhut.de/media/iup-sieb_kopie.png 8second from right) you can see a german called Kugelzange or Hakenzange used to pull the cervix down.
