Licensing[edit]

This image can't "just" be PD, it has the WMF logo on it. I think it needs dual licensing to cover the logo... perhaps this license: {{CopyrightByWikimedia}} which I suggest added pending correction. That would work. I'm not sure how one would tag "part" of an image as one copyright and another part a different one so removing it finesses the problem. But there IS a "composite" tag that could be used. ++Lar: t/c 21:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{Editprotected}} (reset indent)-Why was this undone? There is still that WMF logo to worry about. The Copyright-WMF tag says that parts of it may be copyrighted by WMF. Can we replace this? ESanchez013 (talk) 13:58, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per above and the revert by Guillom I think we could keep the PD license, all users are highly trusted by the Foundation, so I believe the know what the are doing. Huib talk 17:31, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Wikimedia logo used to be there to indicate that this was an official corporate document, as my edit summary indicated ("this is an official document from the foundation, hence the logo"). It may be removed now, since the file isn't in use any more. guillom 18:05, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New hiring in last two months are still missing:

  • Frank Schulenburg, (office name? Sue said he "leads ... public outreach initiatives"), part time, since March 2008
  • Mary Lou Secoquian, Accountant, working in SF office, since March 2008
