Gotska Sandön
This small island - Gotska Sandön - (in English: The Sand Island of Gotland) is situated in the Baltic Sea, some miles north of Gotland. The island is now a national environmental protected park.
The island is formed mostly of sand. To protect the sand, woods have been planted on the island.
