English: The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef. The reef is located in the Coral Sea off the coast of Queensland in north-east Australia.
Deutsch: Das Große Barriere-Riff (Great Barrier Reef) ist das größte Korallenriff der Erde und wird den Sieben Weltwundern der Natur zugerechnet. Im Jahre 1981 wurde es zum Weltnaturerbe erklärt.
