Gusle are one or two stringed instrument usually made of maple wood, used in the Balkans and in the Dinarides region (in Bosnia, Montenegro, Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia - mostly in regions of Dalmatia and Lika). more

Guslars are national singers, passed on national poems in this way for centuries, until the poems were recorded in writing. more

Gusle should not to be confused with Russian Gusli.
