Heinrich Friedrich Karl vom und zum Stein

Deutsch: Heinrich Friedrich Karl Reichsfreiherr vom und zum Stein (* 25. Oktober 1757 in Nassau; † 29. Juni 1831 in Cappenberg, Westfalen) war ein preußischer Beamter und Staatsmann. Er war zusammen mit Karl August von Hardenberg nach dem Frieden von Tilsit der Hauptbetreiber der Preußischen Reformen seit 1807.

English: Heinrich Friedrich Karl Reichsfreiherr vom und zum Stein (1757–1831), commonly known as Baron vom Stein, was a Prussian statesman who introduced reforms during the Napoleonic era that paved the way for the later unification of Germany. He promoted the abolition of serfdom and the establishment of a modern municipal system.
