The Løgting is the parliament of the Faroe Islands since over 1000 years in Tórshavn.

1852 the Løgting was reestablished by the Danish authorities. Actually, it dates back to 900 or at least 970. Date of issue: 17 June 2002. See also: Faroese stamps 2002
