English: Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy (commonly referred to in English as Leo Tolstoy) (September 9 (August 28, O.S.), 1828 – November 20 (November 7, O.S.), 1910) was a Russian novelist, reformer, pacifist and moral thinker, notable for his ideas on nonviolent resistance and his contribution to Russian literature and politics.
Español: Lev Nikoláievich Tolstói (9 de septiembre de 1828 - 20 de noviembre de 1910) fue un novelista ruso muy influyente en la literatura y política de su país. Junto a Fiódor Dostoyevski, Tolstói fue uno de los grandes de la literatura rusa del siglo XIX. Sus más famosas obras son Guerra y Paz y Ana Karénina.
