English: Squatting is the act of occupying an abandoned or unoccupied space or building that the squatter does not own, rent or otherwise have permission to use.

Español: La okupación es el nombre con el que se conoce la acción de apropiarse de un edificio o lugar abandonado con la intención de utilizarlo como vivienda o lugar de reunión, dando a este hecho además un carácter público y reivindicativo.

Français : Le squat (de l'anglais « s'accroupir ») est l'action de s'installer illégalement dans un lieu inoccupé.
