Order of the British Empire

The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British Imperial Order of Chivalry created in 1917. It has five classes (Member, Officer, Commander, Knight Commander, and Knight Grand Cross). It also had a medal known as the British Empire Medal which was mostly discontinued in 1993.
