English: The Palace Museum (Chinese: 故宫博物院; Pinyin: Gùgōng Bówùyùan) is located in the Forbidden City (紫禁城; Pinyin: Zǐjìn Chéng) in Beijing and houses the treasures of the Chinese Imperial dynasties.
中文: 故宫博物院是中國的國家級博物院，藏品基礎是明、清及以前各朝的皇家收藏和宮廷文物。院址在北京紫禁城。1949年以後部分藏品被移至臺灣，現藏于臺北國立故宮博物院。
