Palais Garnier

English: The Palais Garnier, also known as Opéra Garnier or Opéra national de Paris is an opera house situated at the northern end of the avenue de l'Opera, in Paris (France). It was built between 1862 and 1875 by order of Emperor Napoléon III and designed by French architect Charles Garnier, whence the name.
Français : Le Palais Garnier, également connu sous le nom d’Opéra Garnier ou d’Opéra national de Paris est situé à l'extrémité nord de l'avenue de l'Opéra, à Paris. Il a été bâti en de 1862 à 1875 sur l'ordre de Napoléon III, et dessiné par l'architecte français Charles Garnier, qui lui a donné son nom.
