日本語: 仙台市（せんだいし）は、宮城県中部に位置する市。同県の県庁所在地であり、政令指定都市の一つ。東北地方の最大都市で、仙台都市圏を形成する。近世には、伊達氏の城下町として栄えた。碁盤目状の区画が形成され、緑も多く杜の都とも呼ばれる。
