Talk:Country names in non-Latin scripts
From Wikimedia Commons, the free media repository
The idea of this gallery is to present some script samples, which would not render as Unicode text, even on most modern PCs. I'd guess that would imply all scripts other than Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arab, and Han. --Pjacobi 14:53, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, most of the examples added were in Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, and Chinese, so I renamed it from "uncommon scripts" to "non_Latin scripts". AnonMoos 18:03, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
hi ther, the picture for this text "Jordan" [(al-Urdunn) in Arabic script] is incorrect, the picture says [al-yemen]which is yemen and not jordan.
- OK, deleted link to Image:Jordania.png from here, added comment to the image page. There was a similar problem with Image:Saudia.png AnonMoos 00:51, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
