Kay Patterson-Sharpnack coined the phrase "Llamas Are Fun" in the first ad she designed for Patterson Llamas in Sunset Magazine's Marketplace section. That was 1975.

Since 2007 to Today, [1] gives Kay Patterson-Sharpnack credit for this slogan. The site is designed by Malinda Norman, [2]. Norman is a Llama Lover and owner, who believes that Llamas Are Fun!
