Erroneous category[edit]

Princess Mary of Teck was never Queen of Teck. Teck doesn't have Queens. Or Kings. Only a princes and princesses.

She married George VI of the United Kingdom, who was Duke of York at that time. So she was Duchess of York.

When he came to the throne as George V, she became Queen of the United Kingdom. But she was Queen Consort, not queen in her own right, like Elizabeth I, Victoria and her own granddaughter, Elizabeth II.

All the same photos are to be found at Queen Mary of the United Kingdom.
