Template:BArch category header

This is a template to put on subcategories of Category:Images from the German Federal Archive.

[edit] Category:Images from the German Federal Archive by batch

Add {{BArch category header|batch=name of the batch}}. This will place the category in Category:Images from the German Federal Archive by batch, make it a hidden category and sort it by batch.

[edit] Category:Images from the German Federal Archive by location

Add {{BArch category header|location=name of the location}} or {{BArch category header|location=thelocation|category=add category name here}}. This will place the category in Category:Images from the German Federal Archive by location and sort it by location.

1. If category x is passed, add the category to [[Category:x]]
2. If category is not passed, but a category exists with the name location, add the category to [[Category:location]]
3. If category is not passed, and no category with the name location exists, add the category to Category:Images from the German Federal Archive unknown location

More parameters:

• superlocation=somelocation will additionally place the category in Category:Images from the German Federal Archive, location somelocation. That way, a tree of locations can be built from the current flat structure.

  Example: At Category:Images from the German Federal Archive, location Berlin-Adlershof, use superlocation=Berlin to place the category in Category:Images from the German Federal Archive, location Berlin

• isCountry=yes will additionally place the category in Category:Images from the German Federal Archive by country
• categorized=anytextyouwouldliketoputhereitdoesnotreallymatter will make the category a hidden category.

Add {{BArch category header|topic=name of the location}} or {{BArch category header|topic=thetopic|category=add category name here}}. This will place the category in Category:Images from the German Federal Archive by topic and sort it by topic.

2. If category is not passed, but a category exists with the name topic, add the category to [[Category:topic]]
3. If category is not passed, and no category with the name topic exists, add the category to Category:Images from the German Federal Archive unknown topic
