Babel boxes are for displaying what languages you speak (and possibly other things). Details are located at Commons:Babel.

Example

 produces:

en-4 This user speaks English at a near-native level. fr Le français est la langue maternelle de cette personne. de Dieser Benutzer spricht Deutsch als Muttersprache.	ja-3 この利用者は高度なレベルの日本語を理解します。 ru Русский язык — родной для этого участника. it-1 Questo utente può contribuire con un italiano di livello semplice.
Users by language

Usage

Format: {{Babel|<box1>|<box2>|<box3>|...up to 100 boxes}}

Options:

• header - change the header
• footer - change the footer
• color - change the header/footer background color, default: 'transparent' (use color2 to change the whole background)
• border - change the border color, default '#99b3ff'
• align - float left or right; default: 'right' (clear can also be changed from the default 'right')
• fullnames - set to 'yes' if you wish to use templates other than ones that start with "Template:User_" (such as ones in the user namespace), you must include the namespace for each one including "Template:", e.g. {{Babel|fullnames=yes|Template:User_en-4|User:Username/userbox}}

Helper templates:

• Use '!' to start a new column.
• Use '-' to insert a blank row.
