Allowable material includes works that are in public domain on the merit of their being documents meant in the 9§ of Finnish copyright act as it is in the law 821/2005. The allowable material forms all or part of

  1. Finnish Acts of Parliament or decrees
  2. other decisions, orders or documents which are published according to the Act on Finnish regulations assembly (188/2000) or according to the Act on the regulations assemblies of ministries and other state authorities (189/2000).
  3. Finnish treaties with foreign powers or other documents including international obligations
  4. decisions or statements of an authority or other public agency
  5. translations of documets meant in points 1-4 made by or on behalf of an authority or by other public agency.

Please note that most material on the webpages of Finnish authorities are not ”official statements or decisions”.

Informational websites and press material released by the authorities are not, in most cases, covered by this template.
