  2. This is a work of an author and at least 50 years have elapsed since his death. (Chapter XVI, Section 213.1)
  3. This is a work of joint authors and at least 50 years have elapsed since the death of the last surviving author. (Chapter XVI, Section 213.2)
  4. This is a work by an anonymous or pseudonymous author who's identity has not been revealed or is in doubt and at least 50 years have elapsed since its first publication or making. (Chapter XVI, Section 213.3)
  5. This is a work of applied art and at least 25 years have elapsed since its making. (Chapter XVI, Section 213.4)
  6. This is a photographic work and at least 50 years have elapsed since its first publication or making. (Chapter XVI, Section 213.5)
  7. This is an audio-visual work including those produced by process analogous to photography or any process for making audio-visual recordings and 50 years have elapsed since its first publication or making. (Chapter XVI, Section 213.6)
