Usage
{{Painting}} supersedes {{Information}} for the description of images of pictural art (paintings, and by extension: frescoes, pencils, engravings, stained glass, etc.).
Brief syntax description
| Artist | Author of the picture, or his {{Creator:Artist Name}} tag |
| Title | Title of the picture, such as:
When possible, boldface the original-language title (see example below). |
| Year | Year(s) of production, such as:

| Technique | Pictural technique used, such as:

| Dimensions | Width and height of the picture in a {{Size}} converter, such as:

| Gallery | Gallery currently owning the picture, or {{Private collection}}. For stolen paintings, add "Stolen from .." |
