Cant see the PNG thumbnail?

If purging the image cache and reloading doesn't work try these steps:

  • click the purge
  • copy the url of the thumbnail (by right clicking the blank image and clicking properties/copy image address) and paste it in your address bar. The url will be similar to :
    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e0/Goa_locator_map.svg/235px-Goa_locator_map.svg.png
  • Replace the thumbnail directory (e/e0 in this case), with different combinations a/aa a/ab a/ac b/ac and so on till the thumbnail is generated. Usually takes over 5 tries.
  • Now paste the original url (with e/e0) in your address bar and press enter. The image should now display correctly, else repeat the procedure from the beginning. Remember to purge the cache first.
