Enhancements[edit]

I think this template could be improved by using date-stamping the moves. That way the reviewers will be able to focus on fresh items and not have to go through older stuff each time... Something like the {{fact|date=}} from Wikipedia would work. I can set this bit up by editing the template (I think), but the other part of the equation is a robot which fills in the date= bit... Agree. Good suggestion. I have added a broader disclaimer, as I have seen (and corrected) hundreds of bot transfers with wildly inaccurate information, and I'm sure there are many more urgently requiring massive correctionn. -- Infrogmation 00:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hebrew translation[edit]

The Hebrew translation is not good.

Both Hebrew and English versions contain the text "see below" (ראו להלן) which is a bit obscure about the "below" it refers to. the Check Now (בדוק כעת) link does not exist in the Hebrew version. Tomer A. (talk) 12:56, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Be bold and correct it -- Avi (talk) 15:13, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have the time to find where should it be corrected. Can you post a link? Tomer A. (talk) 23:24, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've made some corrections/clarifications. Care to check? -- Avi (talk) 02:05, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I've edited some more. I still can't quite understand what does the see below refers to. Tomer A. (talk) 23:57, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This template is placed at the top of images moved by CommonsHelper, the "see below" refers to the image itself and any tags applied by the bot while moving. -- Avi (talk) 05:16, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This is redundant but i can live with it. Tomer A. (talk) 08:57, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Translations[edit]

In order to get more translations of such templates the idea to make these translations on translatewiki should at least be evaluated. --Robby (talk) 15:17, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

{{Editrequest}} The template should check if the subcategory exists and if not it should categorize into the main category. --Nachcommonsverschieber (talk) 18:45, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The same goes here: I am opposed to that as it would be potentially confusing. Making a dedicated category, e.g. "Category:Media needing categories where timestamp category does not exist" would be my suggestion. -- Rillke(q?) 18:27, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The please do so.--Nachcommonsverschieber (talk) 11:42, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now. Please sandbox and test the exact code. Once you have that do a new edit request so it's just copy and paste for the admin. Multichill (talk) 13:35, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please add to the end just before the </includeonly>:

{{#ifexist:Category:Files moved to Commons requiring review as of {{{day|}}} {{{month}}} {{{year}}} | | [[Category:Files moved to Commons requiring review where timestamp category does not exist]]}}

--Nachcommonsverschieber (talk) 09:07, 16 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
