"add entry" link

{{editprotected}} Why does it link to a subcategory (currently Category:Categories for discussion/Current requests/2007/09) rather than the more appropriate Commons subpage (currently Commons:Categories for discussion/Current requests/2007/09) referred to by the "this category's entry" link? What exactly is that link supposed to do? The way it looks now, it encourages adding the discussion directly to the monthly page, which, I think, isn't what is wanted. Shouldn't the link rather create a new subpage? --rimshot^talk 13:44, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Survey???

There is a March 2008 note about not changing this template until some survey is completed. The instructions in the template are simply wrong, and don't match how {{cfd2}} works. Why on earth shouldn't we fix this so at least it isn't telling people to do the wrong thing? - Jmabel ! talk 18:21, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
