Maybe we add this parameter to layout? Some languages have translated press release. — putnik 20:07, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, will add it tomorrow. Multichill (talk) 21:05, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Need to update[edit]

In this edit I added several new fields. All the subtemplates have to be updated now. Multichill (talk) 19:14, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Collapsible part[edit]

The Detailed information part should be made collapsible. Does anyone know how to do this? Multichill (talk) 19:23, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I come to this page to ask the same question. So instead of waiting for an answer I created Template:Fotothek-Description/test which is supposed to replace current code in Template:Fotothek-Description/layout. I temporarily pointed Macedonian language version to use the new template, and I will wait with the full switch for a few days, so the new version can be analyzed by any interested party. See new template at any image with mk language option, for example: here. --Jarekt (talk) 17:51, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was afraid we had to split it into two tables. Looks nice, but why did you change so much? Wouldn't it be nicer to just insert the table header and leave the rest unchanged?
It's probably better to change "Detailed information" to something like "Detailed information from the Deutsche Fotothek". Multichill (talk) 18:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to add colapsable table to an Information template, but the results did not look right. So I split the templates. Most of the numerous changes were made because the new version of the template is based on Template:Information/layout while the old one was based on {{Information field}}. But you are right there was no need for it, so I have a new version with fewer changes see here. As for change to "Detailed information" that has to be done in the language templates, but I changed the default text. --Jarekt (talk) 20:41, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good! Of course the change of "Detailed information" triggers a round of translations, but that shouldn't be a problem. Let's load it :-) Multichill (talk) 10:02, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other language description[edit]

How to make other language description to this template?--Juandev (talk) 07:31, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

@Jarekt: . {{Fotothek-Description/layout}} uses {{Building address}} but building address normally requires a "country parameter" in order to format the address. Otherwise, files are categorized in Category:Buildings with addresses - no country. not sure what we should do with it. Just add a "country" parameter to this template so that we can fix things by hand ? --Zolo (talk) 18:15, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fotothek collection shows either most or 100% German locations so I requested to use German form of the address. Even if some location is not German and we have an address than it still might be OK, since that parameter only affects formatting. --Jarekt (talk) 00:27, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Protected edit request on 22 October 2014[edit]

{{Edit request}} The line | 55df = {{{55df|}}} incorrectly appears twice in this template. Please remove the second occurrence of it (the one right after | 5364_1_5365 = {{{5364_1_5365|}}}). Jackmcbarn (talk) 04:10, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done thank you --Jarekt (talk) 05:24, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Date/8450_1_8494[edit]

Hello everyone, i'd like to have correct dates within the information template of the photos. There is a parameter 8450_1_8494 which seems to be the creation date but is has mainly the format YYYY.MM.DD. Is it correct to make changes like this, or should value of 8450_1_8494 be preserved and instead the date parameter be set? --Arnd (talk) 13:44, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
