[edit] Discussion
Where is the discussion for deprecating this template, and why not just fix it rather than deprecate it? -Nard the Bard 22:35, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
- And now BomBom started Commons:Deletion requests/Images uploaded by user Raafat, as if Raafat was a problem, without even mentioning that Bombom had changed the template. Sneaky. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 07:31, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

- I agree, the naming of the deletion request is offensive, the uploader did nothing wrong here (except very poor sourcing, claim of authorship and a lack of permission proofs) but Commons provided a probably wrong template to him to demonstrate that the uploads are public domain. Very good that finally someone with knowledge of the languages for this field cares about this template. He documented his work very well, the template and the breakdown to more specific templates is very sophisticated, my only proposal is to store the images in a subcategory of Category:PD tag needs updating, so it will be easier to review them. --Martin H. [edit] 15 year term for non-creative photography
In this edit, the part about the 15 year term for non-creative photography was removed, because it was not in the copyright law. I do not think that is correct. Such photography is prtected by a different statute, and it is important that we know about it. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 06:33, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- In the 2002 law there isn't a term specified for photography copyright.--Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 09:20, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
