However, the additional conditions are not compatible with the GFDL; GFDL does not require notification of the original creator, not to mention that the reference to "articles" doesn't account for other wikimedia projects. Either the people are licensing under GFDL, or they are not. Stan Shebs 04:17, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

What should I do? I still should have old emails in my archive. See also permission for Wikipedia and GFDL under 'Info dla Redaktorów Wikipedii' section on their website (in Polish) (direct link seems to be broken due to page design).--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 20:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
I suppose link to permission in template whould be enough for verification purposes... But forwarding that email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org would be nice too. Alhtough it's not very likely, Wojciechowscy's make withdraw their permission from their site, and we would need a proof that already uploaded photos are indeed on GFDL license. Ok, what's the otrs @?--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 21:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
See {{no permission}} for details. Cheers! Siebrand 22:17, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

License migration[edit]

{{editprotected}} The GFDL template needs the |migration={{{migration|}}} parameter so the functionality can actually be used. --Yarnalgo (talk) 06:45, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Re-licensing[edit]

Hello

I've exchanged quite a few emails with mr. Wojciechowski, and he announced that he is adding second license (cc-by-sa-2.5), what later on he broadened to cc-by-sa-1.0-2.0-2.5-3.0. Evidence of this decision is on their home page: http://www.poczta-polska.pl/mw/index.php?s=mw-wiki.html . I've reflected that on the contents of this template. --Leafnode 17:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
