English: Times Square is a major intersection in Manhattan, New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. The Times Square area, which includes buildings east and west of the intersection from about 41st Street to 49th Street, is part of the Theatre District, which runs from 40th Street to 54th Street and from 6th Avenue to 8th Avenue, plus additional area west of 8th Avenue from 42nd to 46th Streets.
