Deutsch: Der Türkische Befreiungskrieg (türk. Kurtuluş Savaşı) ist der Kampf der in Entstehung begriffenen türkischen Nation von 1919 bis 1923 unter der Führung von Mustafa Kemal gegen die europäischen Besatzungsmächte Großbritannien, Frankreich, Italien und Griechenland.
English: Turkish War of Independence (May 19, 1919-October 29, 1923) following the defeat of the en:Ottoman Empire along with the en:Central Powers in World War I and subsequent Allied occupation of most of its territory; the resistance of en:Turkish Revolutionaries to Allied terms by the en:Turkish National Movement centered in en:Anatolia, ultimately leading to the foundation of today's en:Republic of Turkey.
