English: The copyright of this Norwegian photograph has expired in Norway only if one of the following criteria is met: 1. For photographic works (fotografiske verk): a) the photographer died before January 1, 1943, or b) the photographer is not known, and cannot be traced, and the work of art was created before January 1, 1943. 2. For photographic images (fotografiske bilder), such as images by the press: a) the photographer died before January 1, 1998, and the image was created before January 1, 1963 (Norwegian Copyright Act §43a), or b) the photographer died before January 1, 1980, and the image was created before January 1, 1970 (Norwegian Photograph Act §13).
