User:Bryan/Flickr maintainer

I'm looking for one or two active co-operator and developers for my Flickr tools. This mainly concerns User:FlickreviewR and User:Flickr upload bot. Those two tools are heavily used with respectively 70k reviews and 13k uploads. Source see svn.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Python and preferably experience with web apps.
• Knowledge of Commons policies and in particular policies on Flickr images.
• Basic UNIX knowledge. The software will run on Solaris once I have a co-operator, so being able to read man pages is more important than Linux experience.

Extra requirements:

• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• It would be cool if we could integrate FlickrLickr into this so if you know Perl it would be cool. (something for the future though)

Direct plans:

• Fixup checkage of manually reviewed images (humanreview.py)
• i18n. The base code is there, but a way of language selection should be determined.
• Semi-automatically leave comments on Flickr image pages.
• Cropping features
• Do something about Flickr washing
