Hello, I am Camaron (Christopher), a user of Wikimedia Commons. My username is a set of letters put together in my mind to form an alias which I liked. However, I have discovered that Camarón means shrimp in Spanish, and that Camarón de la Isla got his name from being "blond and fair skinned", an accurate description of my younger self, though my hair has darkened to brown in recent years.
I created this account on 3 January 2008 and I started contributing on the 20 April 2008 by uploading Image:Punta Cana sunset.jpg after I got a new camera which was the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 - which I now use to take photos for Commons. Some of the photos that I have uploaded may however be from my older and no longer working Canon PowerShot A75 camera. I have an account called Camaron2 (talk · contributions) which I use for editing from insecure connections. I also have an account called Camaron1 (talk · contributions) from my old user name which I have not used for contributing. I am using unified login, and I have edited under Camaron at the following projects:
