This is not a picture of Paul Cuffe's farm although it is so registered on the National Historic Registry. It is a farm that belonged to Tillinghast Tripp who probably built the first part of this house around 1780. Paul Cuffe's homestead of about 4 acres was approximately 400 yards north of this property. Efforts are underway to correct the National Historical Society records. David C. Cole
