Recognised images I've nominated

I'm not much of a photographer, and don't even think I have much taste in photography, but I've noticed a lot of little-recognised photographers who contribute photos of animals, many from places we don't get many photos from, like Dûrzan cîrano, from the Kurdish part of Turkey, and Yuriy Danilevsky, from Baikonur, Kazakhstan. A few of these images clearly deserve quality image or valued image status, so I've nominated them:
