Gunnlaugur Lárusson

Gunnlaugur (Gulli) Lárusson (1976) was born and raised in the rural town Dalvík in the northern part of Iceland. Moved to Akureyri in 1992 and from there to Reykjavík in 1995. Revisited Akureyri again briefly a year later but having tasted the rich culture of the nations capital, decided to move back to Reykjavík to pursue a career in music.

Co-formed the Stoner / Desert rock outfit Brain Police in October 1998, assuming lead guitar and later all guitar dutys. Left the band in January 2005 after releasing three LP's and one EP.

Joined Lights on the Highway in March 2005 as a second guitarist. LOTH released their self-titled debut album on the 18th of July 2005. Current activities are therefore mostly related to its followup — promoting, touring and such.

Alter-ego makes electronic music as Commander.

Also known as "Gulli", "Laugur" "Lungal" "Laugurinn" "Laugurinn sjálfur" "Lurgurinn", "Sundlaugur", "Handlaugur".
