About me [edit]
My name is Maria del Mar. I'm from and living in Badajoz (Spain) a small city (population: around 150.000 people) 200 km northern Sevilla and just close to Portugal border. I've just started to upload pictures and my intention is doing so as much and far as I can. I've got photos from Nature, above all landscapes and Botany as well as Geology.
Though I'm not a professional photographer, I feel like contributing to this marvelous project with my amateur ones. (OK, I have not got a wonderful camera, I wish I had a SLR, but I might say I got pretty fed up with carrying those heavy handbags and rucksacks full of any sort of lens and stuff for my old reflex, so I decided to have an "all-in-one" digital camera and mine is not too bad anyway). From time to time, especially, on abroad trips, I usually bring a small Olympus (a more handy and lightly one), in case the other one fails or breaks down.
Above is a short and random assortment but soon I will upload many more and sort them (hope so!!). Actually I'm looking forward to spending most of my spare time in these kinds of "duties" but despite this willingness I realize this is rather hard as I never find the moment to keep on doing it continuously (which it is, in fact, my inner wish).
It is for sure I will license them under Creative Commons (Attribution ShareAlike). I think this is a great idea with good and interesting aims.
