Hello I'm QICbot, The Quality images candidates bot. I'm developed and operated by User:Dschwen. Please ask all questions and report all problems at his talk page.
My duties are:
- Going over all promotions and declined images haven't been commented on for more than 2 days and nominations that have not been commented on for 8 days
- Moving them to the appropriate archive page
- In case of promotions
- Tag the image page with {{QualityImage}}
- Notify the nominator
- Add the image to Commons:Quality images/Recently promoted (from where laborous contributors tag the images with the QI Helper)
- Sorting tagged images from Recently promoted into the QI galleries, and updating the preview galleries on COM:QI
- Tag images unassessed after 15 days with Category:Unassessed QI candidates
