These are two of my favorite constellation af images. The first is a photo of the Moon and Venus close together in the sky next to the Pakistan flag which seems to be inspired by it. The other pair of images is taken from the Nome Gold Rush (Alaska, 1899-1909). It shows a small and a big mining operation with the same kind of equipment. The first looks to me like men playing in a sandbox where as the other reminds me of The War of the Worlds.

I didn't know anything about Google Art Project before I nominated the picture above, but when I look at their page I can see they have many excelent reproductions of famous paintings. Try looking at and magnifying In the Conservatory a Giga pixel image which is also a Featured Picture on Commons.
