I am Lars Simonsen, a Wikipedia user from Norway. I mainly contribute to the Norwegian (bokmål/riksmål) Wikipedia. I also run the bot Soulbot across several languages for interwiki purposes.

Photography [edit]

I recently (2012) got somewhat stable access to an entry level DSLR camera. Still trying to figure it out.

Fish photography [edit]

As a hobbyist fishkeeper, I like to take pictures of aquarium fish. Photographing small, unruly, ever-moving, sometimes inadequately illuminated animals through water and a thick pane of glass is challenging, but I learn as I go. I find that using a DSLR (even in full auto mode) instead of a compact camera helps a lot.
