Thank you for providing images to the wikimedia commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to the commons should be useful to all users of wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.

To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate category and optionally place the images on topic pages (galleries), or do both (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on the commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

This picture appears to be incorrectly labelled. Those are definitely not pygmy hippos.

Hi Terence, I am writing a book on Singapore and hoping to get permission to use your Airbus 380 picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SIA_Airbus_A380,_9V-SKA,_SIN_8.jpg. I will be editing it slightly to remove the background and compress it into a small b&w diagram. Hoping for your favourable response. Will provide attribution since it is under the CC-attrib. I have seen for example your photo File:Church of St. Peter and St. Paul 8.JPG as one of many photos taken of that church. Could you please add to the description in which country and which city this photo was taken? Another question is, could you please add a link to a category to your photos? Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Commons images are used by editors on many projects in many languages. Each image is put into categories. This helps other editors find them. Please add categories to each image you upload.

To add an image to a category, add the following code to the end of the page.

[[Category:Category Name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbit of comets, add the following to the image description page:

[[Category:Astronomy diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories: Astronomy diagrams, Comets.

For further information on categories read Commons:Categories.

The CommonSense Tool often helps you find the best category for your image.
